The BCThubs project invites startups, entrepreneurial teams, researchers, students, freelancers, and professionals in the field to participate in MentorCult, the 1st Business Mentoring Program implemented under the framework of the project.
BCThubs is a Horizon Europe-funded project aimed at establishing Blue Culture Technology Excellence Hubs in Greece, Malta, Bulgaria, and other future participating countries. Its mission is to promote innovative scientific solutions and products. With a total duration of four years (01/01/2023 – 31/12/2026) and a total budget of approximately 5 million euros, the project is carried out by a consortium of partners from Greece, Malta, Bulgaria, and Italy. It focuses on the protection, restoration, enhancement, management, and promotion of Underwater Cultural Heritage, strengthening research, innovation, and cross-border cooperation in EU enlargement countries.
MentorCult, implemented by the Greek Blue Culture Technology Excellence Hub, supports innovative business ideas from emerging teams in the field of Blue Culture Technologies, helping them develop solutions related to the research, promotion, and protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
Participation is completely free of charge, and all program activities will be conducted in English.

Programme Structure and Key Stages:
- • Kick-off Event: Opening session with introductory talks and programme overview
- • 4 Weeks of Mentoring: Intensive mentoring sessions, including B2B meetings
- • Dry-Run Session: Pitch preparation and improvement with expert feedback
- • 2-Day Bootcamp (Hybrid Format):
- o Day 1: Final preparation of the business idea
- o Day 2: Pitching the idea to a live audience and a panel of experts
